GHydraulic installation instructions
This page describes step-by-step how to install and load the GHydraulic plugin for Quantum GIS 0.10.0 and above.
You'll need a working internet connection to do this.
Quantum GIS ships with a "Plugin Installer" plugin that allows to install additional plugins from the official QGIS plugin repository. In order to use this plugin, it needs to be loaded through the Plugin Manager. Start Quantum GIS and select Plugins->Plugin Manager from the menu.
In the QGIS Plugin Manager, scroll down to the "Plugin installer" entry and make sure that its checkbox is selected. Click the "OK" button.
Back in Quantum GIS, select Plugins->Plugin Installer->Install plugins from the menu in order to start the Plugin Installer.
In the QGIS Plugin Installer, click on the "Get List" button.
Once the list has has been populated, look for the GHydraulic entry and click on it in order to select it. Click on the "Install Plugin" button to install GHydraulic.
You should see a message like the one below. Once GHydraulic has been installed, click "Done" to close the Plugin Installer.
After installation, the GHydraulic plugin must be loaded through the Plugin Manager. Start the Plugin Manager by selecting Plugins->Plugin Manager from the menu.
Scroll down to the GHydraulic entry and make sure that the checkbox is selected. Click the "OK" button.
GHydraulic can now be started by selecting Plugins->GHydraulic->Calculate economic diameters from the menu.
